Welcoming Stayner Care Centre to the Jarlette Family

Penetanguishene, ONTARIO ­­– Jarlette Health Services is excited to announce the acquisition of the Stayner Care Centre – formally Stayner Nursing Home.

Stayner Nursing Home was first purchased by the Baker family in 1969. The family established a reputation of passionately providing seniors with outstanding care. In 1984, the family opened the 49 bed long-term care home in its more commonly known location, just off of Main Street in downtown Stayner. The Baker family was active presence in the local community, supporting local events and initiatives such as the "Music in the Park" summer concert series.

Plans are in place to ensure that the home will maintain the high standards of compassionate care to residents during this transition. Rest assured that at Stayner Care Centre, its dedicated staff and strong support team will be there to continue to provide the quality care and services that families and residents come to expect.

Jarlette Health Services offers a wealth of resources through knowledge and experience. Our focus on quality improvement and high standards of care will complement Stayner Care Centre’s existing passion and dedication to resident-centred care. With Waterside Retirement Lodge close by in Wasaga Beach, Jarlette Health Services will extend their service to older adults in the community by offering an ease of transition from independence through their increased need for individualized personal support and healthcare services.
