Dr. Amanda Jerome Joins Our Team As Jarlette Health Services' First Chief Medical Officer
Jarlette Health Services is thrilled to welcome Dr. Amanda Jerome as our Jarlette Health Services' first Chief Medical Officer. In this role, Dr. Jerome will support our team of physicians across the Long-Term Care Operations division and our organization as a whole in consistently providing the highest possible level of care to our valued residents and a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
The increasing complexity of our residents' care needs, combined with growing regulatory demands, the COVID-19 pandemic experience and our organization's growth make the role of Chief Medical Officer within our organization all the more important.
Dr. Jeromes expert leadership will elevate our voice as a leader in Ontarios long-term care sector and allow us to increase our advocacy for further improvements to resident-centered care.
Dr. Jerome brings specialized skills in senior care, over 15 years of leadership experience in long-term care homes in Ontario and shares our commitment to the dignity of residents, person-centered care, the guiding values of our organization and, importantly, a collaborative approach to supporting our residents and teams.
The appointment of a Chief Medical Officer is another example of our organizations commitment to improving resident care whenever possible. It follows our ongoing work to implement emotion-focused care through the Butterfly Approach to Care, our development of a philosophy of living, investment in redevelopment and rejuvenation of many of our long-term care homes and other improvements.
