Full-Time Permanent
Under the direction of the Accounting Manager, Shared Services, the Office Assistant is responsible for supporting the efficient day to day operations of the office including first point of contact for telephone calls, cheque processing, banking, mail and couriers.Reception including first point of contact for telephone calls, responsible for making bank deposits/taking bill payments to the bank for processing, sorting and delivering mail, maintaining postage meter, receiving/sending courier packages, filing/photocopying/scanning, maintaining office supply inventory and processing office supply orders.
The following traits and qualifications are required:
- Minimum 1 year office experience
- Strong computer skills with a demonstrated ability to use a variety of software programs including; Microsoft Word, Excel, and Gmail
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Proficient at balancing multiple tasks and setting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate accurately with high attention to detail and maintain confidentiality
- Experience working with seniors an asset
- Must have valid driver’s license and be willing to travel
