Under the direction of the Director, Human Resources, the HRBP supports Jarlette Health Services by advising managers and employees on the interpretations of policies, collective agreements, laws, standards, regulations and compensation and benefit programs, health and safety programming, coordinating employee performance and appraisal programs, and communicating to internal stakeholders in Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and regulations.
The following traits and qualifications are required:

Human Resources Management Diploma required
-
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management preferred

2 years related work experience in HR preferred.

Must have or be working towards the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation.

Demonstrated working knowledge of multiple human resource areas and applicable legislation
-
Data analysis, basic research and presentation skills required
-
Must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to adapt to and learn new software
-
Excellent time and project management skills
-
Strong problem identification and resolution skills
-
Must demonstrate an active interest in ongoing education

Must possess valid Driver’s Licence and be willing to travel
