Join our team as a Registered Practical Nurse ( RPN )!
As a Registered Practical Nurse ( RPN ), you are an integral part of the health care team, and in this role you will provide planned, resident-focused and goal directed care in accordance with the provincial standards of care under the direction of the Director of Care.
The following traits and qualifications are required:
- Candidates must possess a current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario. O. Reg. 246/22, s. 51
- Experience in a Long Term Care (Gerontology) setting is an asset
- Perform care planning and coordination of care in a diverse multidisciplinary care team
- A demonstrated use of current care technology
- Shall exhibit strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Act as Charge Nurse when required
- Communicate as needed with the home's physician
- Demonstrate an active interest in ongoing education, training, and professional development
- Adhere to the guidelines and requirements of MLTC
- Possess the skills to demonstrate and deliver effective, safe and resident centered care
- Provide quality service that meets and exceeds the needs and expectations of the residents
- Contribute to a home environment for residents that ensures the values of Jarlette Health Services are met
