How to Avoid Being Victimized by Crime

April 12, 2016 - In conjunction with the city of Barrie Police Department, Roberta Place Long Term Care was host to a Crime Prevention Workshop focusing on Fraud Prevention.
Officer Stephanie McKibbon and Officer Nicole Rodgers were present with the assistance of Brock Godfrey, Senior Support Unit Presenter from the CAFC - Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre. Mr. Godfrey presented a very personalized account for residents, volunteers, staff and guests on various scams and fraud issues which are targeting seniors living in long term care and in the community.
The presentation will be available on Rogers Cable show Q10 - with interviews from our very own Administrator - Carmen Priester. Eventually it will be available for downloading from the Rogers TV website and Barrie Police Website as well.
