Putting the "Mo" in Movember

Raising Awareness One Mustache at a Time

Meadow Park Long Term Care- Chatham, Ontario

Dietary staff kick off a Movember campaign at Meadow Park Chatham by sporting mustaches to raise awareness about Prostate Cancer.

It's November but staff and residents at Meadow Park Chatham have opted to have a little fun and raise some

awareness about Prostate Cancer.  For the remainder of "Mo-vember" the home will be doing their best to raise some

funds for the Canadian Cancer Society.  For some the journey is personal - having had a loved one affected by

prostate cancer, for others it is a chance to show support and raise awareness.

The Chatham home's Resident Council has also decided to show support by making a donation and wearing

mustaches. They wish to challenge and "mo"tivate other homes to do the same and come up with their own

Movember campaigns.

Special Movember tags have been created and will be available for a $2 donation and the home's Environmental

Services Supervisor has decided to grow a mustache for the month of November.  Stay tuned for for our results!
