Meadow Park - Chatham, Ontario

This past April 24th, Meadow Park Chatham welcomed Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts to assist the home in an annual Spring Clean up for Earth Day.  This is the second year the Chatham 19th group has assisted the home to spruce up thegrounds. Over 65 kids, leaders, and parents showed up to lend a hand to clean up the gardens, pick up garbage and plant daffodils on the Sandys Street property. Many of the kids are currently working on individual community badges but it is also the mandate of the group to collectively work towards environmental stewardship goals. The clean up also took place during "Pitch In Canada" week which encourages citizens to clean up and beautify their communities across the country. Meadow Park Chatham continually strives to build relationships and partnerships with our community and this initiative has been a perfect fit!  We wish to extend great thanks to the Chatham 19th Scouts for assisting us again this year to make an outstanding difference in the live of our residents. Our residents can enjoy a clean patio and yard this spring and summer. Each spring our home will be reminded of the Scouts hard work when hundreds of daffodils bloom around the home.
