Students Show Off Their School Outfits

Temiskaming Lodge - Haileybury Long Term Care

On August 24th the Temiskaming Lodge dining room was transformed into a runway for 7 children aged 2 to 15. Staff and residents were encouraged to bring their children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews to show off their new school clothing and accessories. Two of our models were not old enough for school, but they still had some great outfits to show off. Residents clapped and laughed as the children strutted their stuff to classic children’s songs and posed for the crowd. Residents were able to meet and talk with some of the kids after the fashion show. The residents made some great treat bags to thank all the kids for participating.

Smiles and comments were abundant from residents and staff.  The event was a big success and enjoyed by all.
