Leacock Care Centre
Leacock Care Centre is a fully accredited long term care home located at 25 Museum Drive in Orillia, Ontario. Close to the historic Leacock Point, Leacock is adjacent to a residential neighbourhood, near to schools, churches, parks and of course, Lake Simcoe. We offer 144 long term care beds in private or basic accommodation and 1 short term bed for caregiver relief.
Our home has been provincially recognized for our Falls Prevention Program by a Shoppers Home Health Quality Award. We also participate in the Second Wind Dreams Program that provides the opportunity for seniors to live their dreams and provide innovative educational programs to caregivers and their communities. At Leacock we strive to empower our residents to live joyfully and ecstatically through different activities. We appreciate everyone's unique interests and have developed the means for residents to run their own interest groups such as our provincially recognized "Conductors Club".
