New Medical Commercial Space in Orillia
Orillia, ON (August 21, 2012). Leacock Care Centre
along with Leacock Retirement Lodge in Orillia unveiled details about a
2000 square foot commercial medical space that they have reserved for up to
2 local doctors. Several Doctors and members of the medical community
attended a dinner event at 16 Front Street on August 9, 2012 and those in
attendance previewed the details about this opportunity.
The Medical
Commercial Space will be located in the Leacock Care Centre at 25 Museum
Drive in Orillia. The space will occupy vacant area that currently exists
in the Long Term Care building with its own entrance for use as a community
practice. We have experience in two other of the Jarlette Lodges with
physician offices and it has proven to be successful for both the occupying
physicians and the lodge.
Construction is well under way at the neighbouring
Leacock Retirement Lodge Inc. and a tunnel connecting the two buildings is
already in place. This tunnel will provide ease of access to Residents
wanting to visits friends or family in the Nursing Home and for those
accessing the services of the medical facility.
Jackie Dusome, Director of the Retirement
Division at Jarlette Health Services says she is looking to find
physicians who may be interested in establishing their offices in this
location and she would be happy to meet with interested parties.
