Bayfield House Retirement Lodge
Bayfield House Retirement Lodge is nestled in beautiful Penetanguishene across from Georgian Bay. The lodge was named after Lieutenant Henry Bayfield, meticulous hydrographer for the Royal Navy. The decor of Bayfield House Retirement Lodge will feature historical highlights from Penetanguishene's naval history. Focusing on customer service this lifestyle choice will allow residents to maintain their independence while at the same time offer service amenities to allow for the true enjoyment of retirement years.
What do we do
Designed for comfort and security with 24 hour on site professionally trained staff and a full service generator. Three nutritious and appetizing meals served daily in our gracious dining room. Between- meal refreshments are available on a self-serve basis throughout the day. Our food service staff are always open to requests and suggestions. Therapeutic diets are available upon request. Our private dining room is available by reservation, and is perfect for celebrations of special occasions with your family and friends.
Residents enjoy a variety of planned activities, exercise programs, games, entertainment and social events tailored to meet each individual resident. There is always someone to chat with, take a pleasant stroll or enjoy a friendly game of cards. Visiting friends and relatives are always welcome

Bayfield House Retirement Lodge is a member of the Ontario Retirement Communities Association (ORCA). Through ORCA we undergoe an accreditation process to ensure high standards are maintained.

Just wanted to say a big thankyou to you both and all of your staff for a wonderful evening at Bayfield House on Saturday. We take this opportunity, on behalf of Annas Robinson and her family, to thank all of you. Mother enjoyed a special, happy, rewarding year at Bayfield House. She readily expressed her pleasure in the many friends she made with staff and other residents. Personally, we observed your efforts to provide friendly individual care and support for her. Right from the beginning mother was treated with respect, dignity and love. The Luxurious, comfortable surroundings, as well as the lovely hospitality rooms make this a delightful home. The dining room is beautiful and the staff there is to be commended for their efforts to please. We commend you for providing special programs and services for the residents. Every one of my requests, questions and concerns was addressed by your staff.
