Avalon Retirement Lodge

Welcome to Avalon Retirement Lodge. Avalon Retirement Lodge is a 77 bed senior's residence overlooking lovely landscaped grounds and a natural walking trail. The site is nestled in the heart of Orangeville close to downtown, schools, churches and parks.

What We Do

We offer a supervised environment with nursing supports in place and are staffed 24 hours per day. We offer an inclusive program including medication administration, medical treatment and follow-up, in-house visits by a physician, assistance with a weekly bath and personal laundry and housekeeping services. With a full activity program that is designed in consultation with residents, there's always something to do at Avalon.

When you desire some peace and quiet, you can return to your own accommodations. Choose from five tastefully designed styles, ranging from semi-private and private, to suites. All rooms have their own ensuite bathroom.

There is on site access to contracted Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, a Denturist and a Psychiatrist. The Lab also visits twice weekly to complete any necessary bloodwork or ECG's. For a reasonable additional cost, residents have access to a Hair Salon, Tuck Shoppe and Footcare Pro (for those residents requiring additional foot care).

When you need a hand, or have a question about something, you'll find our staff are always courteous and helpful. Thank you everyone for being so nice.  The welcome from Laurena-Mae and Debbie was warm-hearted and kind.  The nurses were exceptional.  The cleaning staff and dietary staff were outstanding and helpful.  There isn't one thing I can possibly think of, everything was first rate.  The meals were delicious with lots to eat, no one could complain.
